ETEKWELE MOVEMENT APPOINTS COORDINATOR FOR NORTHERN NIGERIA, CHARGES HIM TO ADVANCE AND REPLICATE THE IDEALS OF THE MOVEMENT.

#Etekwele

During the birthday celebration of the founder of the Etekwele Movement, Dr. Oteheri Brain Otejiri, the philosophy and ideological stance of the movement was officially unveiled. Built on three core pillars-Capacity Building, Best Governance, and Mentorship. The movement is committed to inspiring societal reform and strengthening community development.

The momentum behind this vision led to the official declaration of September 30th as ETEKWELE MOVEMENT DAY, a day dedicated to reflection, action, and renewed commitment to positive change.

Key Aspects of the Etekwele Movement

Founder-Driven Leadership: Led by Dr. Oteheri Brain Otejiri, who uses the #Etekwele hashtag to communicate updates, rally support, and drive community action.

Community Action: Followers are encouraged to contribute to local development initiatives, including fundraising efforts to restore roads, school grounds, and other public spaces damaged by flooding and neglect.

Political Discourse: The movement engages actively in conversations around governance, calling out inaction and highlighting issues such as economic hardship, failing infrastructure, and the need for better leadership.

Local Focus: Much of the movement's spotlight remains on Ethiope East, showcasing both the challenges and successes in the community, from academic achievements to cultural celebrations and civic issues.

Appointment of Northern Nigeria Coordinator

In a display of commitment to the movement’s expanding influence, Ibrahim Inyass Idris, a young, passionate Northern Nigerian reached out to declare his willingness to promote and uphold the ideals of Etekwele across the North.

Ibrahim is a Sociology graduate from Prince Abubakar Audu University, Ayingba, Kogi State, and a dedicated artisan skilled in tiling and other building services. After due assessment, it was confirmed that he possesses integrity, capacity, and a genuine passion for advancing the movement’s vision.

He has now been officially appointed as the Etekwele Coordinator for Northern Nigeria and is charged with mobilizing like-minded youths, strengthening community engagement, and replicating the core values of the movement across the region.

Congratulations once again, Ibrahim.
